Abubakar Shekau, the leader of the dreaded Boko Haram sect, has refuted all claims by Nigerian military that he has
been wounded or killed saying “I am alive and well.In two videos just released to SaharaReporters by Ahmad Salkida, a journalist that specializes in reporting conflict in Lake Chad region, Shekau, also said he is not done with waging war against the Nigerian government.
“I am not wounded, I am ready to fight and will continue to fight,” he said as he read from a prepared speech in Hausa and flanked left and right by well-armed lieutenants.
