What is trending in fashion?

Fashion blogger here and everything fashion is the name of the game for me! While this isn’t a complete list, I’ll feature some popular trends we’ve been seeing around this time!

90s nostalgia - Probably one of the biggest trends lately, track suits, side stripes, checkerboard prints, vintage designs (i.e. Tommy Jeans, Champion, Calvin Klein Jeans), metallics, fanny packs, platform boots and much more have arrived from the 90s. Millennials born this decade are officially adults and with age, comes much nostalgia and longing for the past.

Athleisure : Joggers, track pants, sports jackets, sweatshirts, and hoodies are now acceptable attire to wear even away from the gym. This trend has surged these past few years for both men and women as a result of consumers wanting to feel fashionable without sacrificing comfort.

Sheer Fabrics - See-through fabrics have been seen throughout many designer collections and seem to be slowly trickling down into lower and middle-end fashion brands. The fabric is undeniably sexy showing off more skin while still leaving something to the imagination.

Plastics - These synthetic, shiny fabrics covey a sense of the future and technology which reflects greatly how much advancements we’ve made in such little time. Most recently, Moschino’s newest collection featured loads of spandex however traces of this can be been in Chanel (see below), Calvin Klein, and many more.

2000s trends - Before you panic, Juicy Couture tracksuits are not making a comeback however embroidery, patches and most notably, berets and driving caps have officially made a return and they are better than ever
